Comments on Twilight

I noticed girls liking Twilight more than the boys.  Of course more girls read the book, and some boys seemed to be ashamed of it and they wanted to make sure that I knew they did not read it.  They said it was for girls.  That is sad, but they seem to feel that the book is associated with girls, and some of these boys I spoke with did not want to have anything to do with that.

What Do People Think About Twilight?

I talked to students, teachers and others online about their thoughts on the movie and books about Twilight.  Here are some of their responses.

Thoughts on Twilight

I asked people's feelings toward the book, the movie or both.

It was a good story.  It was fun to watch.

I love both, however, the book is much much better.

I hate both. As I have said before, the writing style is awful, and the idea of 'good vampires', particularly ones that sparkle, annoys me.

They're both awful.
Robert Pattinson = ugly.

Yeah, they're both pretty awful. I'd say the movie is better because you get to look at Robert Pattinson.

I really liked the book...the movie was ok but the acting was horrible and kind of corny
Harry Potter Thoughts
I absolutely love the books, the films are good, but the books are simply brilliant. But, I suppose its just what you expect, because films never quite match up to the books.
Book: I love the books. Although I think some of the books are bit dragging. By the end of the last book, I was mentally applauding JK Rowling for the clever way she pieced the small things from the beginning of the story together.

Movie: I generally dislike novel-based movies. I think the first two movies are okay, though. But the rest, I think they're a bit too rushed. But you can't blame anyone since they do have a time limit. All in all, I'm not really a big fan of the movies.
I LOVE Harry Potter!! Both the books and the movies!
Harry Potter = my life
I love both the books and movies! I wish that they would stick a little closer to the plot in the movies, but I wouldn't change anything else, seeing as they are both fantastic.
I love them both! Although I like the books better.
