I hope to improve on the types of materials I read. I want to expand what I read and read more books that are educationally related.
I hope to...
improve my teaching,
read more books,
read more professional journals and magazines,
listen to my students more,
give my students more opportunities to talk, be creative and express themselves,
be a great role model for my students and tell them what I am reading and continue to ask what they are reading,
talk less and listen more,
be more observant to the needs of my students,
relate the lesson more to the lives and abilities of my students,
work more on activating prior knowledge,
activate my own prior knowledge more when I read,
go to the bookstore more often,
read more than ever,
never stop reading, learning, growing or teaching!
I hope to increase my knowledge of Spanish.
There are many things I want to work on in my teaching and professional knowledge and it is often difficult to always know where to start or what to focus on. I plan to work on organizing my ideas and put more emphasis on that which is most important. Keeping a journal or a diary would be helpful. Also I must keep in mind that this plan will change with time.
I hope to read more literature that my students read.
I hope to help my students more with their grammar and writing.
